Since my commissioning in 2015, I have served in almost every aspect of our calling as JPs, simple because I love to serve, and I believe in fulfilling the call.  Serving is in my DNA, I grew up with great examples of service and so I intend to continue to serve with the same fervor as I accept this new mantle.

I count myself as nothing but a conduit for good and so I start this tenure with a heart of gratitude, firstly to the Most High God, for the way he chose to make me, with a heart for people, a soul that stirs and a will for justice which have paved the way for the service I have chosen to give. I am grateful to those senior JPs, who have directly or indirectly mentored me since I started this journey in 2015, Custos Rotulorum, you have taught me so many lessons, in protocol, procedures, mannerism, professionalism, service and wit and sir I express my gratitude. To those Justices of the Peace who have served on the varying boards and committees and those who I have had the opportunity to lead in the varying activities over time, I want to thank you for leading from your varying levels as you have helped me to become better at service.

Fellow JPs my mission is simple. Its not to re-invent the wheel but to build on the great foundation led by those who have gone before me, Dr. Mark Gonzales, Dr. Paulette Francis-McGregor, Col Euken Mills and Col Murphy Pryce, you have set a high standard and mine is the task to lead the association in the same vein while aiming to improve on the strides already made.

Members of the JPJ Kingston, I crave your support for the year to come, so that together we can achieve all the objectives set. Our intent to introduce new programmes can only be successful with your commitment and involvement. The New Board selected this term can only lead if you are willing to follow and so as we plan lets us remember the people we serve and the lives we seek to impact. Thank you and God bless you all!
