Care and Compassion Sub-committee currently provides support to Justices of the Peace (JPs) who are either sick or shut-in. There are various needs of Association, that are critical to the spiritual and emotional well-being of JPs and their relatives.
Objectives of Care and Compassion Committee
- Coordinates visitation to Sick and Shut-In JPs and/or their relatives as well as periodic visits to Homes for the Aged within Kingston and St. Andrew.
- Involves visitation and support at times of bereavement.
- Provides Support Services
- Senior Care - Involves maintaining contact with JPs who are not sick or shut-in but require assistance to attend meetings and other events hosted by the Association and other support deemed necessary.
- New Arrivals/Births – Involves support to JPs on the birth of their babies, visits to the hospital, telephone call or a token from the Association.
