Communications and Public Relations Policy
The Events and Communication Committee will be guided by the Communications and Public Relations policy which will dictates the following:
- Provides timely, accurate, clear and complete information about the JPJK’s programmes, services and initiatives
- Delivers prompt, courteous, professional and responsive communication services;
- Ensures JPJK’s programmes projects and Events are visible, appropriately branded, accessible and accountable to the people they serve
- Utilizes the variety of media, channels and platforms to effectively provide information and reach Jamaicans both at home and in the diaspora;
- Encourages continuous improvement in relations with the media;
- Safeguards the trust of the Jamaican people in the integrity and impartiality of the JPJK
- Establishes consultation mechanisms with members of the Association on an on-going basis
- Uses research to identify, evaluate and address the public’s information and communication needs and concerns as well as to inform the public about JPJK’s, programmes and services
- Ensures increased collaboration and cooperation between the JPJK. the agencies of Government in coherent and effective communication with the public.
